Spanish Style House Plans

Spanish or Mediterranean style house plans are most commonly found in warm climates where the clay tile roofs assist in keeping the home plan cool during the hot summer months. The Spanish or Mediterranean House Plans are usually finished with a stucco finish (usually white or pastel in color) on the exterior and often feature architectural accents such as exposed wood beams and arched openings in the stucco. This style is similar to the Southwest style of architecture, which originated in the Southwest areas of the country.
