Craftsman home plans. This craftsman home plan features two stories, three bedrooms and bathrooms, with formal and informal gathering spaces. Bright and spacious vaulted great room stretches up two stories in height. Owners' suite boasts a deep soaking tub, along with a shower and dual vanity.


#108-1667 boasts classy Craftsman touches

Stone veneer wainscoting and twin sets of slender wooden porch posts give the #108-1667 a distinctly Craftsman-style flavor. Other telling details include: a front covered porch, windows with four-section upper mullions, low-sloped rooflines, and shake-textured siding that fills the upper triangles of front-facing gables.


This mid-size, two-story plan has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Formal and informal gathering spaces fill the main floor, along with a powder room, generously sized utility room, and spacious owners suite. The other two bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs, where a large unfinished bonus room invites multiple uses.


Upon entering, you pass by a wide opening on the right that leads into the living room. Straight ahead is the vaulted great room. The ceiling there lofts up to the second story level, and multi-paned windows fill most of the rear wall. It's a bright and spacious room.


The gas fireplace that fills the left rear corner provides warmth and color on dark days and nights. Atrium doors next to the tall windows offers direct access to a partially covered patio, ideal for outdoor dining when temperatures are congenial.


Great room and dining room flow together. The ceiling drops to a more standard height in the dining room, which is wide open to the C-shaped kitchen. Potted plants thrive in the natural light that washes in through a corner window in front of the sink, and dish washers will enjoy it too. A large walk-in pantry fills the other front corner.


The #108-1667's owners' suite is spacious with a built-in dresser across from a large walk-in closet. The owners bath boasts a deep soaking tub, along with a shower and dual vanity.

Each plan set includes the following:

  • ARTIST'S RENDERING: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front, and general construction notes.
  • FRONT, REAR, AND SIDE ELEVATIONS: The front, rear, and side elevations of the house as drawn. Shows placement of doors & windows on exterior of the house, as well as roof pitches, ridge heights, and locations of chimney, exterior vents, etc. The elevations show the positioning of the final grade of the lot, exterior finishes, and other details that are necessary to give the home exterior architectural styling.
  • MAIN FLOOR PLAN: Each plan set is drawn at 1/4"=1' scale. Showing the placement and dimensions of all walls, windows, and doors. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
  • SECOND FLOOR PLAN (if any): Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
  • FOUNDATION PLAN: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
  • ROOF FRAMING PLAN: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc.
  • SECTIONS AND DETAILS: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints. These details can be helpful for the contractor.
  • ELECTRICAL PLAN: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches, and electrical outlets.

These items are NOT included:

  • Architectural or Engineering Stamp - handled locally if required.
  • Site Plan - handled locally when required.
  • Mechanical Drawings (location of heating and air equipment and ductwork) - your subcontractors handle this.
  • Plumbing Drawings (drawings showing the actual plumbing pipe sizes and locations) - your subcontractors handle this.
  • Energy calculations - handled locally when required.
