I'd say it depends where you are in the country. For people in Arizona, the real estate collapse is still very much present; you can still find new 2005-9 era condos in Phoenix for under $30k. Conversely, in New York City or Hawaii, housing is picking up big time. Again, totally depends on the area we're looking at.
