House Plans, Lots of House Plans

It's simply amazing how many house plans are out there. All the websites you can browse with thousands of house plans and there are still so many designers and architects that don't even publish their houseplans online. There are so many options when it comes to picking the perfect floor plan that it's daunting.

We try to provide a search utility that is functional and lets you narrow your search to just the right plan, but I have to admit it's impossible to have a search that is perfect for everyone. Sometimes, the perfect house plan is not perfect at first glance. I think it's a good idea to look at house plans a little larger and a little smaller that the size that you might be looking for. There is a good chance you'll find one that is not exactly perfect, but with a simple change or two, it becomes the perfect house plan for you. A lot of our customers purchase CAD(electronic) plan files and have them modified by a local professional or have the original designer make the modification for them. Another option is to purchase a reproducible set of houseplans and have your builder redline changes. Simple things like bumping out a garage a couple of feet or a bedroom wall moved a bit can often be done on site and save you some costs.

So, don't get discouraged. There are a lot of houseplans to choose from... but you'll find "the one" if you have some patience and a little flexibility.
