I had a good day today.  I sold a Tri-Level spec home and closed on another.  The Tri-Level plan has been a good seller for my construction company www.jthomes.com  I like it because it is a good home plan for areas in high-water tables.  It is also a cost effective home.  I also like that there are just two or three stairs to enter the home.  With the living room, kitchen and dining on the main floor, your guests won't need to climb the stairs.  I also like that it gives the bedrooms a lot of privacy.  Jake designed several 5-bedroom versions of the tri-level.  I have built about twenty five of them as spec homes.  I have always done very well with them.  Maybe they are a Utah house plan, but several of them have sold to people coming from California.  I will get Jake to post them soon.
