With the Emmys right around the corner, we are seeing lots of news about the shows and stars who are up for awards. Popular television stars have some of the most extravagant homes we will ever see – from Malibu to New York City to Chicago and Miami, many U.S. cities are popular hot spots for celebrities. Perhaps the most interesting architectural projects belongs to one of this year’s popular Emmy nominees, lead three time Emmy award-winning Actor Bryan Cranston, of the hit TV drama series Breaking Bad. He lives is this Los Angeles green beachfront with wife Robin Dearden. The couple had owned the property for several years, dubbed the “love shack,” which was originally a 1940s-era military house. As Cranston put it in an interview on Dwell.com, “It was literally a shack, a kind of Quonset hut that became a lean-to.” After decades it was slowly sinking into the sand and the couple decided to tear it down and build their green dream home.
