Here are some helpful search tips

The Search Refiner

The search refiner is the easiest way to find exactly what you are looking for. This navigation tool allows you to refine your search by narrowing down the results as you go. This allows you to see a broad range of plans and eliminate those that won't work for you. First select a plan style. When the search results are displayed you will find a menu on the right side of the page that will allow you to refine the results. Check each item i.e. Square footage that you would like to add to your search. Uncheck the item if you wish to remove it.

Categorical Search

We have broken down the search into categories that are found on the main page. Just select any preference you may have and your search results will appear. Now you can refine your search even more with the refined search menus on the left side of the site.

Detailed House Plan Search

The detailed house plan search allows you to select exactly which items you want in your home. However, selecting to many options may result in 0 plan found. If you search doesn't return any results go back to the detailed house plan search page and uncheck a few options.

You can customize your search results by selecting one of the order options in the upper right corner. Sort your results by the newest, largest, smallest or most popular plan.

Plan Display Page

To make viewing easier for you we have all of the plan info, elevations, floor plans and other plan images all displayed at one time. Just click on any of the images for a closer look.

Found a plan you like?

In the upper corner you will find links to add the plan to your basket, add it to your personal Plan Collection or even e-mail it to a friend. If you like the plan but want to see other plans by the same designer, just click on the 'other plans by this designer' link. All of our plans by that designer will be displayed.

Save your favorite house plans

My House Plans

We know how exciting building a new home is, and want to help you share your excitement. To do this we allow you to save your favorite house plans to 'My House Plans'. This allows you to browse our plans, save them and return later to show them to your friends and family. To utilize this feature, simply login if you already have an account or create an account. While you are browsing plans just click on 'add to my house plans' to save the plan. You can return to our site from any computer, login and find your favorites saved for you. If you have cookies enabled, 'My House Plans' will automatically load upon entrance to our site.

The more criteria you specify, the better your results. We encourage you to try all of the search options and find the one that works best for you.
