You'd have to define "green". I've never built a home with bamboo flooring, myself, but I'm curious to hear other peoples' experience with it.

Green flooring by bamboo flooring is eco-friendly, very durable and very affordable. It is solid, strand-woven, hand-scraped. It may be dyed nail, glue, or floating installation. http://www.adishopfronts.com/
