Has anybody had any experiences - good or bad - with home design software? I'm looking at Nexgen's professional version, but I'm not sure how good it is, and if there's anything better. Thanks.

I spent some time on the internet tracking down reviews for Nexgen's Home and Landscape software, and I found that it really wasn't well liked. Glad I didn't buy it. There are others out there that I'm going to look into. I've been using the free version of Google SketchUp and I'm very impressed. The Pro version has tons more features, but it's $495 so I'll be sticking with the one I have until I need to finalize the plans.
