generally residential house plans do not include tons of details for electrical, HVAC and Plumbing like commercial plans do. There will be the basic information but you local mechanical contractors generally design their own systems on the job.
The constuction plans generally include elevations and floor plans to scale, cross sections, measurements, and applicabale roof, truss or framing details that are needed. What is included in the plan will vary according to the designer that drew the plans.
Keep in mind that your local city may or may not require structural engineering which is a sperate service all together and must be done by a local professional familiar with you rlocal snow loads, wind speeds, soil conditions, etc.
