I really enjoy this plan now I wonder if I could find a bit smaller version.  Like 2200 square feet.  Now another question is how is it built for canadian winters. 

My last question is where on the web would I find house plans with galery pics of the plans in it?

My suggestion is you look up plans in your sq. footage range by the same designer.  You might find one just like plan 983.  Just type NDG in the box that says Search by Plan Number.  Then you can search by smallest plan or largest plan (above the thumbnail images) and just scroll until you find your range.  As far as pictures, there aren't any that I know of.  The designer doesn't have any.  It's rare that someone buys plans, and then sends photos after building.
