Question about this home plan NDGJB-1052

We are in the middle of purchasing 9.2 aces (wooded) and haven't found anything we love more than this house

NDGJB-1052

I have a couple of questions...

1.  Do you happen to have any photos of this house actually built?  I sure would be interested in seeing them, as this house is our top contender for a plan.

2.  We are thinking of extending the front porch into a drive-under carport-type-thing (I forget what they are called in the building industry)...would you recommend this?  Why/why not?

3.  Do you have a particular garage plan you'd recommend to go with this house?  We are interested in a breezeway connection somehow - what would you recommend there?  To which room might it attach best (I was thinking the sunroom)...?

Thanks!  I love this site, and I LOVE this house.  Its so perfect for our little place in the woods, and our nature-loving seven year old (who would have the upstairs bedroom/private balcony area to himself)...!

I'm sorry we don't have any photos of this houseplan right now.

The extended porch is called a Porte Corchere (not sure on that spelling). You could do on on this plan, but it would have to come out quite a ways so that the cars would clear the deck.

As far as the garage goes, I think you have the right idea, just attach it through a breezeway or enclosed breezeway back by the sunroom. I would recommend having someone locally draw up a garage plan for you. They are pretty inexpensive to do, and this way they could customize it to show how it would be attached to the existing houseplans.
