Searching for Pix and Info on House Plan #NDG-667

Hello,

I am searching for info and pictures of House Plan #NDG-667. Also, who is the architect or designer for this home? I would love to do a walk through of a model home. I have been searching for over a year for a plan that has everything that I wanted and this is the closest yet. My only concern is the upstairs balconies with little children--and even inviting temptation for my teens to attempt to sneak out!
Does anyone know how costly or it would be to make minor changes? Like adding a closet to the upstairs office so it could possibly be a bedroom....and changing the lower level front room double windows into french doors?

Also, if any of you with more wisdom of building homes have any suggestions or comments about possible downfalls that I may be overlooking, I would greatly appreciate your feedback or ideas on changes you would consider.

Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you.

Mary

Mary,

These stock house plans are often pricey to modify. I know a lot of people will purchase the reproducible set or the CAD file and have changes made locally. This designer is Nelson Design out of Arkansas I believe. The changes you mention above though would be easily redlined on the plan. I would purchase the reproducible set and draw on those changes before making copies of the houseplan.

The balcony is neat on that plan. I would worry about teens sneaking out too. Your question about building is pretty broad. But with my experience I can tell you that this is a pretty good plan for cost effectiveness as the home itself is pretty boxy with a simple roof line. The big porch and balcony above could be pricey. It's aneat house plan though.

This home was designed by the Nelson Design Group (they have a website - Google it).  We too have been looking for a model to see.   So far, no luck.

We have checked with nelson design group  and there are no other pictures available at this time. We generally try and get as many images as possible, but because of privacy reasons the designers often cannot publish pictures of plans built for someone else, or give out an address where people can see the plan in person.
