Passive Solar?

Is Plan DD-6400 a passive solar design (if the house is oriented south)? I like the design, but I need a garage. There aren't many passive solar designs in the 2,500 square foot range with a 1st floor master bedroom.

This house could definetely be utilized as a passive solar home, with southern exposure. As for the garage, this plan does not have one. You could order a seperate garage plan, or you could have one drawn up locally to match this plan.

I did some more research on this home #DD-6400. The theatre room was actually intended to be a garage if needed. So, you could just redline in the location of the doors on-site and there is your garage.
